Hal Sullivan Jr. - CEO

Owner, chairman of board.  Harold (Hal) Sullivan brings an incredible amount of business management and financial analysis experience to the head of Heartland Footwear.  With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Accounting from Holy Cross College in Worcester MA, a Masters of Management Finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and 25 years as a partner at Ernst & Young - Hal has all the tools to lead Heartland to success. Afshin Enshaie - Owner & Co-Founder

As a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.  Afshin has spent the last 30 years working with some of the top brand names in the industry, assisting with and directing manufacturing facility set ups, assembly line integration, and optimizing work flow.  Afshin is known in the boot industry as a trail blazer and a beacon of knowledge and experience.  Afshin brings all his expertise to the helm of our manufacturing process, assuring the highest-quality product.

Joseph Marra - Industrial Sales Manager & Key Accounts

With experience in Heartland's customer service/compliance, Joseph Marra brings a wealth of company knowledge, and desire to take the company to new heights.  Now head of industrial sales, Joseph carrys the Heartland name, by land or by air, to food processing facilities, chemical plants, and construction companies -  keeping pace with the growing demand and to further his understanding of the market and its changes. He holds a B.B.A. from Marymount University.

Joseph Belting - Director of Finance

Joseph Belting's extensive experience working with various sized for-profit corporations and several not-for-profit organizations in the South Bend area brought him to Heartland as the Director of Finance. With his knowhow and attention to detail he quickly began implementing upgrades including a system conversion. Joseph earned a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and is a member of the Indiana CPA Society.

Sam Albertsen - Director of Marketing & Online Channels

With a creative eye and a high work rate, Sam brings experience and a touch of color to Heartland as the Director of Marketing and Online.  Spending years in the Restaurant business and a drive for success in everything he does, Sam knows what it takes to get customers in the door and keep them coming back for more.  Sam holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.

John is an accomplished senior footwear executive with an excellent record of leading both mid-sized global manufacturing and sales organizations to new levels of sales and profitability. With a strong business and sales acumen coupled with a passion for continuous improvement - John's knowledge is pivotal for Heartland's continued success.
