Work Lite

Just bought a house in Vermont wherein the locals speak of 'mud season' (April/May..) - so needed something 'like' these. Well, what a perfect find - they are easy on/off, relatively lightweight, sturdy and solid, and to boot (pun intended) they're steel toe, which I didn't even know when I ordered them, so will be good for moving anything heavy that might drop of whatever. Ever so they're comfy and lightweight, so an ideal choice in the end, especially given the very reasonable price. Looking forward to yard work now! Well maybe not quite ....

Solid waterproof boot, and steel toe too! That said, this is not something you are going to wear every day 10 hours a day and expect to last for years. I use these to both launch my boat and clean the duck pen. I am now fearless stepping into the most questionable mud/water/whatever holes that my feet will remain dry! Fit seems to be on the larger size, as I have a wider foot and no problems. Great waterproof light-weight boot!

Got these for my husband and as you can see from the photo he wears them a lot! I wanted to wait a little before leaving my review to see how these held up. He does a lot outdoors because we have lots of property and outbuildings as well as a wood boiler so there is constantly wood to cut and other things to get done. They have held up really nice and he likes the fact that they are steel toe because he occasionally drops things on his toe. The biggest flaw he says is the wide calf portion because when you are walking around wooded areas or moving brush, he says debris will fall into the big opening. Sometimes he has to stop and shake them out. He wears them almost as much as his mucks.

I was surprised with the quality of these boots at this price. I'm cleaning out a creek on our property and these are working perfectly. Time will tell if they remain waterproof but at this price for a pair of boots I'm not expecting miracle. So far so good.

Well, I ordered a size 13 in these steel toe boots.... and I was amazed that I actually got a size 13 that is true to size and fit well. My issue is they weren't steel toed. Guess they forgot that part when making these. I had to double check my order form to make sure I actually ordered steel toed boots. I did. Then I took another look at the sticker that comes on the boots' packaging, and it even says steel toe boots... they are not. These are just regular ol rubber boots. Well, at least they fit. But I can't use them at all. Not for what I needed them for anyways. Not worth the value and will not recommend.
