Sizing Guidance

Our boots are designed to run slightly larger than standard sneakers for comfort and layering. To help you find the right fit:

  • For a snug fit (barefoot or thin socks): Order one full size down from your usual sneaker size. Example: if you wear a size 10 in sneakers, order a size 9 in our boots.
  • For a roomier fit (thicker socks or extra toe space): Stick with your regular sneaker size. Example: If you wear a size 10 in sneakers, order a size 10 in our boots.

Heartland Footwear's Leader DB: the 'over-the-sock' Dielectric Boot has been engineered and designed with specially formulated insulating layers offering electrical protection. The Red Upper allows for easier identification and an easier inspection process. The Leader DB is built on the proven Leader style material offering a sneaker fit with locking the ankle and preventing heel slip. The boot protects to the levels specified in the ASTM F1117 standard.

In addition to the dielectric protection, the Leader DB delivers light weight and slip/fall protection properties. Combining these features into one boot, the Leader Dielectric Boot aims to support a secure and productive work experience.
